For those of you that have typing and office skills, you could be a virtual assistant. Virtual assistants do all kinds of tasks, most have all the necessary secretarial skills needed. Any type of office work that needs to be done a good assistant can do. Hiring you to do those tasks will help the business owner get more work done.
If you are a business owner either online or your business is in a brick and mortar store, and have been in business for a long time, you have a skill that you may not be aware of. Simply by using you business sense, you can share your experiences with people that are about to start or have already opened their own business. You can charge by the hour and help new business owners at the same time.
For this next job you may have to do a bit of internet research. What we are talking about is being an online tutor or mentor. The position would be to work with children who are having difficulties with school work, homework or in specific school subjects. You will help the child gain a better understand of their school assignments.
For those who do not wish to work on the internet, you can make your own job in your city. If you are a crafty person and you know you can do just one craft with excellence, why not give classes about teaching your craft. If you make candles, you could teach classes on how much fun it is to make candles from scratch. Start with beginner classes and move up to advance candle making lessons.
This next idea is more of a small business than a job. We all know that there are a lot of elderly people out there that need help of some kind. There are several things you can do for these people. Driving them to the doctors appointments or to the grocery store. Clean their home once a week. There are two ways you could charge for your time, one is charging by the hour, or by the project.
At this point you have a lot to think about. You would be able to perform any of these jobs successfully. Of course you will need internet access to find out how much you want to charge for the service you will be providing. All of these ideas have one thing in common, and that is you will be helping each person in a different way, and will make a difference in their lives.
